Pedal & Paddle at Fort Worden State Park
Fort Worden State Park, with over 12 miles of bike trails and 2 miles of
shoreline, is an ideal location for exploration by bicycle or kayak. From
Memorial Day through Labor Day PT Outdoors provides Bike Rentals as well as
Kayak Tours & Lessons. Kayak rentals are available to those with experience,
groups with a guide or during supervised rental periods.
Fort Worden has some of the best sea kayaking in Washington State. With sandy beaches to launch from, scenic vistas of the historic lighthouse, kelp beds and gorgeous shorelines, this is the ideal place to discover sea kayaking.
You will find the PT Outdoors rental location across from the Marine Science Center.
Bike rentals include helmet and lock. Half day = 5 hours, Full day = 24 hours.
Kayak rentals require demonstrated paddle & self-rescue skills
or guide supervision. Half day = 3 to 5 hours.
Hobie Island Trimaran rental requires one time lesson.
