Rental kayaks are available from our downtown location from June 1 thru September 30th. A rental zone which extends no more than 500 feet from shore and from the Science Center Pier at Fort Worden to Port Hadlock in PT Bay must be observed for your safety. All rentals include a mandatory safety briefing and we may deny a rental if we feel there is a safety concern. Beginners are welcome to rent tandems and single touring boats when there are more than 2 renters in a group. Solo enclosed cockpit boat renters must demonstrate ability to recover from a capsize. Otherwise rental is limited to one of our Sit-on-Top models. Reservations are recommended and will receive preference over walk-ups.
